Understanding Cable and Bolt Seals
- The cable seal
This mechanical locking device secures containers, trucks, doors, and sensitive equipment. It generally consists of an unformed wire rope. Once cut, the wire rope frays to prevent re-use. The seal is locked by a steel mechanism integrated into a sturdy housing. In addition to providing protection, it helps track the supply chain.
- The bolt seal
This security device consists of two parts: a bolt and a sleeve. These parts interlock to form a sealing block. This seal is particularly suitable for containers and means of transport that require a high level of security.

FlexiGrip 325-M: Extreme Security Cable Seal
The FlexiGrip 325-M is designed to guarantee cargo security, even in the most demanding environments. Its non-preformed, galvanized cable frays after cutting, which prevents tampering or reconditioning. This prevents tampering or reconditioning attempts.

Locktainer 3000 L: A Robust, Tamper-Proof Bolt Seal
This bolt seal combines engineering precision with enhanced reliability. It is designed for critical applications, such as containers, railcars, and trucks. Its ABS-coated carbon steel core provides mechanical strength and ease of handling. The Locktainer 3000 L’s tamper-proof mechanism locks without rotation. This means it can be used quickly and without tools.
This model is ideal for extreme climatic conditions. It won’t warp under intense heat. In all cases, this bolt seal complies with ISO 17712:2013 High Security standards. It is also certified by Dayton T. Brown Laboratories, a world-renowned testing laboratory.
