Safety is paramount for your goods, be they containers or other valuable cargoes. There is a wide range of devices and accessories designed to prevent and identify possible violations of goods and deposits. Sealing bolts are part of these effective devices to secure your packages, your internal sales and your shipments. There is a different and equally effective model today: the flexible bolt or commonly called “flexible bolt”.
What is a bolt seal?
Sealing bolts have some similarities to traditional bolts, consisting of a rod and a nut. The difference lies in the fact that the rod has no thread, but a groove that will fit into its nut until a click is heard.
Once the two parts are fixed, it becomes impossible to separate them, except by breaking the rod with a large pliers for bolts and steel.
The bolt seal can prevent any attempt to open the merchandise, which would be easily detected.
What are its fields of application?
The security bolt, rigid or flexible, can be used in many areas to secure all types of packages and goods. It is used a lot for land, sea or air transport and can effectively seal containers loaded on cargo ships or on trucks.
It replaces the plastic padlock in almost any situation and is as effective as the latter to prevent and detect theft and fraud on a package.
Flexible bolt: a high-security alternative to rigid rods
The flexible bolt is distinguished from its rigid counterpart by the rod and its configuration: it consists of one side of a non-preformed cable and, on the other hand, a locking chamber made of steel and coated with ABS plastic of very high quality. Both parties have the same security number to avoid any replacement of one or the other.
Perfectly meeting the quality standards (C-TPAT), this type of bolt is a perfectly adapted alternative that leaves you with a peace of mind.
